One God To Recovery was founded by Eddie Trejo, a man who knows firsthand the struggle of addiction. In 2018, after years of battling substance abuse, Eddie recognized that he needed real change. With just five dollars in his pocket, he left everything behind and came to Milwaukee in search of purpose and change. It was during this journey that Eddie found the support he needed and more importantly, he found his faith. After turning his life over to Jesus Christ, Eddie experienced a complete transformation. His faith became the foundation of his recovery, and he credits Jesus Christ as the source of the strength that helped him break free from addiction. Out of that experience, One God To Recovery was born. Eddie’s mission is to help others find the same freedom he did, through community, support, and faith-based healing. He believes that if recovery was possible for him, it’s possible for anyone.
